Fryer Construction received a call concerning a customer that backed into a two car garage causing structural damage and damage to one of the two garage doors.
The team installed temporary bracing/supports while the center CMU column was removed and replaced. We added steel shims between the CMU column and header, pored concrete, and re-bar from the footer to 3' above grade to add additional strength just in case there is another collision in the future. The damaged garaged door was replaced with a 9x8 Colonial style garage door.
