This gambrel garage roof was the victim of excessive algae growth and missing shingles. Algae growth is a sign of trapped moisture in the roofing system, upon further inspection insulation was found between the roof rafters on the bottom side of the roof sheathing which was trapping moisture and reducing ventilation efficiency.
Fryer Construction LLC. removed 9 square of 3-tab asphalt roof shingles and associated roofing felt underlayment and installed "Owens Corning 25-year supreme black onyx 3-tab shingles" with associated roofing felt underlayment, white aluminum drip edge, and "Owens Corning VentSure sky Runner LTE Rolled Ridge Vent".
While on site Fryer Construction LLC. also removed and replaced water damaged window and garage door trim for a discounted rate.
This project took (4) days to complete from start to finish.
